Introducing Durrelle Green
I’m an enthusiastic, vibrant and successful rural specialist agent!
Choosing real estate as a career was a natural progression for me as it utilised all my skills & the things I love best, into a career. Marketing, my love of dealing with people; helping people, talking to people and providing people with service that is better than they have had before, along with an absolute passion for rural living - all lead to real estate. When I talk to people about what I do I always say ‘I sell property, but my business is people” I never just say “I sell real estate”, because that is what this business is about, it’s about the people as well as the properties. I love the concept of real estate match making– matching buyers and sellers together, it’s like I’m Cupid!
Honesty, enthusiasm, and being 100% committed to providing excellent service is my focus and part of that is knowing my product (property), It is important for me that my vendors and buyers receive the very best service - I will be that agent that goes the extra mile for her clients every time “Leave no stone unturned” as my mother would always say! I stay on top of new innovations and methods in horticulture by attending Avocado pruning workshops and discussion groups. There’s always something new to learn.
My profile in the rural real-estate market is rapidly growing, I have established a considerable reputation as a skilled negotiator, I thrive on personal growth and am highly motivated to become the best at everything I pursue. My major strength is my practical ability, this coupled with my vision, my interpersonal and communication skills means I can make my vendors and buyer’s dreams come true. My enthusiasm for the job and ability to consistently deliver outstanding results allows me to have a strong network of clients to entrust their property interests with me.
My background is varied and colourful - literally colourful. I cultivated my career working mostly in the art and farming industries. At the age of 17 I started my own small business; hand painting furniture– also winning a big contract with Pumpkin Patch at the age of 19. Sign writing, cartooning, teaching art– if its art related I have done it! In 2003 I completed a Certificate in Veterinarian Nursing and managed a small farm but then I was enticed back into the art world taking on my pristine position as the new manager at Harrisons Gallery, eventually taking over ownership. The experience of owning multi small businesses has allowed me to gain invaluable proficiency in marketing, management, servicing a solid client bas and exceptional customer service.
I have lived my entire life on lifestyle blocks and orchards, always having had horses, driven tractors, done fencing, raised calves, thinned kiwifruit or pruned avo trees! This is where my ‘jack of all trades’ skills have come from, growing up rurally, if something needed doing, you just did it! I love the BOP and everything about it– the lifestyle, the beaches, the country side, the people, my farm, my family, my animals and all the wonderful friends I have here. With a reputation built on honesty and trust, you can be confident that I have both the capacity and the level of care to achieve the best result for you.
The “Green Team” - Anna, my younger sister works alongside me as my Professional Assistant.
